I built and maintained major parts of the production 3D configurator, from geometry and configuration behavior through admin workflows and performance-sensitive update paths.

A clinical SaaS tool that helps psychologists turn assessment data into polished reports—AI drafts the narrative, clinicians edit it, and finished documents export to professional DOCX.

My contribution

Owned the frontend workflow across authentication, structured inputs, AI requests, report review, editing, and export.

I'm Mark, a lead frontend engineer at RedLayers. I lead frontend delivery in an agile, async team, working across technical planning, architecture, code review, and the details people use every day.

Vue, Nuxt, and TypeScript are my deepest tools. I also have working knowledge of React and Next.js. The habits I bring across frameworks are understanding the system, making deliberate decisions, and testing what ships.

Design the system.

I trace state, API contracts, dependencies, and failure paths before changing code. Reusable architecture keeps the next feature manageable, too.

One frontend. Two storefronts.

Care for production.

I work through rendering issues, complex browser state, and expensive updates. The goal is a predictable experience, including the paths where something goes wrong.

Use AI. Own the result.

Cursor and ChatGPT help me explore unfamiliar code, compare approaches, and implement changes. I own the architecture, review the output, test the edge cases, and verify the complete user journey.

AI-assisted. Human-reviewed.

When the work crosses the API boundary: I use AI-assisted exploration to understand the existing backend, make targeted changes where appropriate, and test the complete flow. Frontend remains my primary specialty.
